Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work perspective and work environment on employee well-being at Trunojoyo University, Madura, using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design and involved 210 respondents, consisting of lecturers and educational staff. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The analysis results indicate that work perspective significantly influences employee well-being, the work environment significantly influences work perspective, and the work environment also directly influences employee well-being. Furthermore, work perspective was shown to mediate the relationship between the work environment and employee well-being. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a conducive work environment and building positive work meaning to improve employee well-being in the higher education sector
