Objective: The tourism sector is a globally dynamic industry highly dependent on human resource management (HRM) for its operational success. This research explores HRM practices in Asian and European tourism industries, focusing on hiring, training, performance management systems, and organizational development. The study identifies cultural, structural, and regulatory differences that shape HR strategies across the two continents. While Asian practices emphasize hierarchy, loyalty, and internal promotions, European practices prioritize transparency, performance metrics, and external talent acquisition. A mixed-method research approach involving secondary data and case studies reveals regional trends and emerging hybrid HRM models. Findings contribute to strategic HR decision-making in international tourism businesses aiming to operate across culturally diverse markets
