Abstrak

The demand for reliable power plant operations in Indonesia drives the importance of effective Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) project management. In MRO projects, the success of the client supplier relationship is significantly influenced by the clarity of the scope of work and the level of trust. This research seek to empirically relationship between work scope clarity, client trust, and supplier satisfaction, using a case study of PT Torishima Guna Engineering, a leading provider of MRO services in the power generation sector.

This investigation utilized a cross sectional assessment design coupled using a quantifiable explanatory approach. Fifty five supplier respondents provided questionnaire data, which was processed exploiting Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM). Created on the analysis outcomes, supplier satisfaction is positively and significantly impacted by the client's degree of trust.

Conversely, clarity of the scope of work did not have a significant effect. This suggests that in the context of complex technical projects, relational aspects such as transparency, integrity, and client commitment are more important in shaping supplier satisfaction than administrative aspects.

These findings reinforce the importance of a trust based relationship management strategy in MRO projects. This research provides practical contributions for service providers and power plant operators in building sustainable partnerships, as well as enriching the literature on supplier satisfaction from the perspective of energy infrastructure projects
